Art as Therapy & Expression for

Gentle expression through guided creativity

At Cognut, we believe every child deserves the freedom to express, create, and thrive through art. Our custom-designed art programs support children on the autism spectrum, focusing on emotional expression, creativity, and joyful discovery.

Led by a Certified Expressive Art Therapist

Classes are led by Charles Aloysius, a certified expressive art therapist for children on the autism spectrum. Our sessions go beyond teaching technique. They help children
- explore their inner world
- express emotions
- build confidence
- develop focus and mindfulness through the rhythm of art

Every Child Finds Their Own Way

We offer a variety of creative mediums and encourage each child to explore what suits them best. Our sessions include
- Acrylic painting for bold expression and sensory engagement
- Watercolor painting for calm and flow
- Pencil sketching for focus and observation
- Clay modeling for tactile exploration
- Photography to discover perspective
- Filmmaking to tell stories in a visual way

For many children on the spectrum, art becomes a second language. At Cognut, we focus on creating a space where
- progress is personal
- behavior is understood, not judged
- communication with parents is open and honest

We work with each child at their pace, adjusting the class structure to their needs and comfort level.

A Safe and Supportive Space

Our Commitment

We are here to help your child
- experience the joy of making art
- express their thoughts and emotions
- build lasting self-confidence through creativity
